Master’s Degree in Building Structures. 18th edition, course 2024-25

In the Department of Building Structures and Physics at UPM, we conduct research in a wide variety of areas related to architecture, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and physics.

We offer 42 ECTS of core and compulsory courses for the degree, in addition to 5 experimental workshops and other elective courses.

We also supervise Final Degree Projects on topics related to our teaching and research.

The Master’s Degree in Building Structures at UPM is an established official master’s program with professional orientation and recognition, accredited with the international quality label EUR-ACE for professional requirements in Engineering and Architecture 2023. This master’s program can be completed either in person at the School of Architecture or online, and includes 12 credits of external academic internships in companies within the sector.

We teach the Structures Workshop of the Master’s Degree in Architecture, as well as elective courses in structural analysis and architectural acoustics.
