Presentation

Although fortunately the force of gravity, wind, and earthquakes have not changed, the way structural materials are used has evolved, alongside the fact that we live in times of continuous regulatory changes and an increasing system of controls that increasingly requires careful consideration and justification of decisions.

A graduate with solid knowledge of structural theory, with sufficient dedication, should be able to assimilate and apply any new regulations, learn the responsible use of computer programs that can assist in their work, and eventually become capable of effectively evaluating different alternatives for making design decisions.

This Master’s program offers the advantages of formal training, which is significant in navigating the precise path to gain confidence in the professional task of drafting the execution project related to foundations and structures, including not only the general and detailed graphic documentation but also the written documentation, which is becoming increasingly important for quality control and safety in economic and environmental outcomes.

The extensive experience accumulated by the Master’s program, which has already surpassed a decade, ensures the usefulness and recognition of the training it provides.

Quality accreditation

This Master’s program has been accredited with the EUR-ACE label for professional requirements in Engineering and Architecture 2023, a certification granted by an agency authorized by the European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), in collaboration with the ANECA (Spanish acronym for National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation). This certification ensures that a training program in Engineering (and Architecture) at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level meets international standards. With this label, students receive international recognition of their qualifications and competencies, both from other universities and various employers, thereby facilitating their international mobility.
